Posts: the challenges of European liberalization

The total liberalization of postal services has been effective since 1er January 2011. How does the French Post position itself in relation to this process of opening up to the market? ? How did their European counterparts react, support or even anticipate this process? ?

To answer these questions, four researchers propose avenues of reflection which each shed light at a different level of analysis on the challenges of this generalized competition between postal operators across Europe. A monographic approach will allow us to understand how the French Post Office, which has long preserved its monopoly, positions itself on this market currently under construction. The comparative approach, for its part, will make it possible to address the various strategies implemented in large European countries (Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands).
