While the project to establish an active solidarity income (RSA) is the subject of all attentions and that the system will be presented in Parliament at the end of September, the issues raised by the reform announced by the High Commissioner for Active Solidarities against Poverty, can and must be questioned. This work is carried out here by researchers from different disciplinary backgrounds, who have in common to move the angles selected in order to assess the possible range of the upcoming reform. Beyond the direct positive effects expected for its beneficiaries, the project of RSA could have long -term consequences on the structuring of French society and in particular on the lower strata of wage earners, as well as on the situation of people dependent on social minima.
