Identity through divorce

How do you define yourself ? Should the notion of gender, because it carries inequalities and injustice, be abolished in the expression of identity? ? François de Singly explains in this interview that what matters is that the individual can define the hierarchy of their different identity dimensions.

François de Singly is professor of sociology at Paris Descartes University. Her research focuses on the sociology of the family, education and relationships between women and men. In this interview he explains the question of identity, the definition of oneself, the place of gender in identity and the consequences of divorce for feminine identity.
