The academic world and research is in full swing. The reasons for concern and anger are multiple: they concern as much the research evaluation devices and the conditions for exercising autonomy as the mastering of teacher training and the reform of the status of teacher-researchers.
The life of ideaswhose raison d’être is to disseminate the intellectual production of French and foreign researchers with a large audience, and which would not exist without their work and their contributions, had to help clarify the issues of the major debate. How can we assess scientific research and works of the mind ? Research is pilot ? How to respect the intellectual and material independence of researchers, who are also civil servants ? How to disseminate knowledge in a university that quickly moved ? The answer to these questions will long condition the springs of intellectual life.
